Alyssa's shower

Here are some pics from Alyssa's shower with her speech group. It was really cute, all done in a red wagon theme. She also had a shower at one the schools she is at and a couple's shower at their house. That was fun and the guys played a game where the they had to dress a baby doll in a diaper, onsie, socks, shoes, mittens, bib, cap and then a swaddling blanket and they were timed. Mark won so that may be a good sign...........

Here is a picture Alyssa painted for Aiden's room. She had seen a technique similar to this somewjere and decided to try it. She says it's not "museum" quality but I told her it was "mommy" quality and that's worth more!

Not a lot to report on the girls right now. They are both feeling a lot of movement...............great, I had better start storing up on my sleep. If the babies are this active now, what will it be like AFTER they are born................?

I am feeling somewhat grandmotherly. Katie, the student assistant who worked for us for 5 years had her first baby on Wednesday, March 25. Tyler James weighed in at 8 lbs, 6 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is a cutie pie! Here he is.....
